Blue

Blue is a form study inspired by the design language of Andrea Borgogni. The goal of this project was to develop form without function that mimics the design language of choice.

 
 
 

Identifying key elements of “Maybe Chair”

 

Sketching

After establishing the product language, I started sketching based on these key elements of the Maybe Chair:

  • Sculptural Geometry

  • Strong material contrasts

  • Convex/ concave faceting

  • Surface transitions
